Christmas Eve before Mass:
We drove through a snowy, silent night to get to the candelit service. It was beautiful! Calvin did great - much better than the crabby little boy in his pajamas in the pew in front of us:-) We went up to the nativity to see Baby Jesus and wish him a happy birthday after mass.
Then we drove back home to get ready for bed and Santa! (And I got the car stuck in the driveway... oops! We did get about 4 inches of snow that hadn't been plowed out of our street or shoveled out of our driveway, so I was just happy to get the car that far!)
Christmas Morning:
Santa came! And he brought the best present ever - a play kitchen! Calvin said "Ohh!!" and dove right in, not even looking at any of the other presents.
We finally got him over to Daddy and the couch to open up some of the others...
Yes, that's a potty!
And back to the kitchen!
And a Fisher Price Little People boat for the tub. Calvin also got new PJ's (plus his Christmas ones he got to open the night before), a Bears Cutler jersey, and an Elmo bib.
But most of all, he liked his kitchen.
