Bedtime

Before bedtime, Calvin has his routine. We have a cup of milk on the couch - sometimes watching his favorite Wiggles, Star and Nina, and Pajanimals.  We love Sprout!  We pop him in the bath, put jammies on, brush teeth, say night-night to Daddy and head to his bedroom.

We will read as many stories as Mommy will let Calvin (usually 3 or 4, but sometimes more).  He likes his Bible, anything Elmo or Sesame Street, his Disney books.  He does not particularly like long books, although he let me read Green Eggs and Ham tonight. 

Then prayers.  We bless everyone we can think of.  Then we sing a song and rock for a few minutes, then we pop into bed.  During the songs, Mommy has to make sure Calvin is tucked in just right with just the right blanket, all of his stuffed animals have to be just right "right there!", and Mommy usually has to give kisses at least to his "Copper" stuffed puppy and bear. 

Favorite songs lately?  It's always Old McDonald and ABC's - but Mommy has remembered a few more lately. Row, Row, Row Your Boat is big!  Also, Are You Sleeping. Anything with gestures is fun but I try and save those for non-bedtime - I'm a Little Teapot, Head Shoulders Knees & Toes, Itsy Bitsy Spider... and anything else I can think of!
