Christmas Eve we intended to go to church with Jeremy's family. Things don't always happen as you plan with a toddler - Calvin had a late nap and woke up in a terrible mood so we decided it would be best to go to church the next day instead. Calvin and I hopped in the car with some cheese and crackers and milk and looked at Christmas lights.
We found this great house:
It was very cool. They even had Christmas music playing outside. Up and down the street, just about every house had lots of Christmas lights up. At the end of the street, a lit sign said "<--Griswolds". Calvin thought it was awesome.
Later that night, we broke out the new Christmas jammies.
Then we set out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer, and tucked Calvin into bed nice and early. Calvin was very excited the next morning to see he had eaten almost all of the cookies (he left a little bite out of the last one!).
(Sorry about the quality above - I was trying flash vs. no flash and I really don't like either. I think they make a speedlite for that type of thing but I don't have that either!)
More pictures to come...
