We visit the library at least a couple times a month. Calvin gets to pick out a movie, some music, and books. And he does puzzles too - it's always a good trip, and it's only half a mile from our home, so it's very convenient! I wanted to share and document some of our favorite kid's books that we've been reading lately. It's nice to be able to look back on these books when he is older and remember them:-)
First - Ree Drummond's Charlie Goes to School. Ree Drummond is the Pioneer Woman, and I just love everything she does. Calvin and I watch her show on the Food Network together - I love the food, Calvin loves the ranch.
We read Again! this week too. What a great book! Calvin laughed so hard at the silly dragon who keeps asking his dad to read the book AGAIN!
This next one I think is something on the lines of Dr Seuss - lots of nonsenical words and a fantastical journey. But we love it - The Journey of the Noble Gnarble, and also The Journey of the Marmabil.
One of our favorite books that we own is the Disney Storybook Collection. Calvin will read this just about every night - he goes to the "Table of Contents" and chooses the story for the night. It's got a picture next to the story title, so it's so easy for him to pick out.
