Calvin is one month old today!
Yesterday we went to the doctor, and he weighed 10 pounds 12 ounces! What a big guy. The doctor says that with breastfed babies, you can see them gain weight quickly, and then they level off after about 4 months. We are also still working on our nursing/latching technique, hopefully that's the last trip to the doctor's office for that!

I've been starting to read aloud to him, he likes to watch my face while I read the stories. We also took out a couple of the toy rattles. Copper likes them more than Calvin does right now (how are we going to keep them away from this dog!?), but Calvin watches them and seems interested in them. Calvin also can turn his head to find my voice when I am on the other side of him. He has great head control too - he likes to hold his head way up!
You can see Copper's nose in this one - he likes the big stuffed dog I brought out! He kept trying to figure out what we were doing.
Copper had to be in one of the pictures too...
