Birthday at the Zoo

Sunday morning when Calvin woke up, we told him it was his birthday.  "I'm three today?" Yessir, you are! 

So we did church, and then headed to Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington. We got to visit the animals and have a good Mommy-Calvin time while Daddy worked.

We saw kangaroos...

Parrots like on the movie Rio

Rode the carousel (the T-Rex of course)

Ate a snack...

Found the "kung foo panda"

And used our map to figure out what the birds in the rain forest were!  Calvin did a great job here, comparing the colors of the birds and figuring out what they were.
