My husband is such a great dad to Calvin. Any time that Calvin gets hurt, we have to go get Daddy. Daddy looks at things and makes sure he is all better. Daddy is much better with blood and owies than Mommy is.
Daddy is also the rough and tumble guy with Calvin, and they keep Mommy from being too serious.
My Dad is a great example to me. He has taught me that you have to follow what is right, and never deviate - even if the "rules" allow you to scrape by differently. I also get my love of business and hard work from my Dad. And probably my stubbornness and belief that I can do it all myself:-) And Calvin and his Grandpa Niemerg are best buds.
My father in law is another great Dad. We know we can count on him for anything. Kevin was the one I called a few weeks ago when I had a flat on my way out of town, and he came by and switched my tires out, no questions. He is a great grandfather also. He and Calvin tease each other and get to run around the farm together, checking everything out.
