First day at Preschool!

We decided after a fun year and a half at the neighbor's daycare, we wanted to get Calvin into a preschool for the next year before he goes to kindergarten. (already!? can you believe it?)

There is a nice Montessori-influenced preschool/daycare behind our house, so we decided to check it out. Over the last few weeks we have been preparing Calvin for the switch.  I'm loving that he will be in a class with many kids his own age and a little older, and he'll get to do more learning that he had before.  At the daycare, some days he was about the only one his age there, so I'm glad he'll have kids his own age to play with and learn from all the time.

Other days, his two best friends - Ryan and Eli - were at his old daycare.  I got their parent's phone numbers so we can hopefully set up a playdate sometime soon. Calvin was worried about missing them!

We are one week down, and while dropoffs are hard, he plays hard and learns hard too - and he got a sticker on Friday for good behavior and hard work!
